Now that we are all settled in, and I am all back on track, I thought I would throw a foto friday up with a twist. Play along and show me your best shot from the last 2 months. I will start with “Show me something green.” The next person will show me something green and then pick the next thing…curvy, blue, pink…..whatever and post it in the comments. It will be fun to see what people come up with. If you don’t take photos of your own and want to play, just find something fun on flickr and link it in the comments. I got this idea over at shutter sisters. Walk 100 steps in any direction and snap whatever artful thing you see. If you are in a rut and need a little kick in the pants….this will be the thing for you and me.
I walked 100 steps in the SE direction. When I got there I realized a silhouette shot would be fab. When shooting a silhouette, place your point meter right on the light source and your object in the foreground will be in silhouette. Have fun and show me what you got!
So the original idea I had for today didn’t pan out in the images I wanted to shoot yesterday. So instead, give me a macro image today. You know the deal, link in the comments section and we all will go visit and take a peek at your goods.
I thought that I would hand out free money, as it seems so popular these days.

I am participating in this weeks Photo Hunt.
Here is my “curvy” submission. I took this during our trip to Sea World. We spent some time at the pool and our littlest needed a little rest. When I saw the theme I knew I wanted to capture one of our children’s profiles and this was a great moment. I want to hang on to these snuggles even after they have kids of their own. Alright people! Go snuggle someone:-)
