Slow and steady~

I have little to say today that is inspiring or encouraging our even interesting.  All I have to say is that the Tortoise was right…”Slow and steady wins the race.”  This whole thing is such a great  exercise in my overall formation.  Hold things loosely, die to your own plan, keep everything in perspective, and most of all hold on to tightly the only thing that never changes….Jesus.

So, here are a few inspiring things to look at and read today. If you are wanting to get really radical then watch this.   Come back tomorrow, maybe I will have an inspiring wordless Wednesday image up.  Maybe…we can all hope right?! See you then.

  1. That’s what I keep telling myself as I still plug along on sub 6 mile distances, I have to keep reminding myself this is the second week after basically a month off due to illness and all that. Keep running forward you can do it! All of it - the packing, the training and the maintaining of your sanity.

    The pancake recipe is on the blog - if it helps is totally freezable.

    I am glad my process is your process too;-) Tomorrow you email me the same thing so that I stay reminded!

    Isn’t it fun we found each other again on FB. I think it is so interesting to connect with all my Gainesville friends through facebook. It makes me feel like we never left you all, and that we are just doing our thing just a little bit further away.

    How are things way out west? Find a good church? Married life? Mommy life? Nursing? I would tell you our story, but this blog and Mikes will give you a good summery of the last 8 years;-) So glad we reconnected.
