Photo Friday: I’m back!
Well, I have had a nice little blog/online break. We have slept in, and spent tons of family time, as my husband has been home for the last two weeks. We watched a few family movies and just generally relaxed with not much schedule.
I did some much needed reorganizing around here. Cleaned my desk area of junk mail etc., cleaned out my hard drive of all the junk you accumulate over a years time, got a stack of papers ready for the kids to shred, organized my year of photos worth keeping and ruthlessly pitched deleted the rest, reworked my photography site online, cleaned out one child’s closet, got several boxes together to go off to goodwill, and last but not least thought through some things I want to add to our homeschool in the Spring. I guess I do my spring cleaning….in December.
Last night Mike and I went out for a date and saw The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. I read the short story almost a decade ago and due to having all of these children, and my old age;-) I could barely remember the story. I did, of course take along my camera to grab a few night images.
So, I am off to enjoy my last vacation day. Next week back to my normal schedule.
Grace and Peace to all this year~

good to have you back. love the new photo. =)
don’t feel strange. i do my “spring cleaning” in the fall, and was inspired this year to do a total “move everything out - clean the empty spaces - move only what we actually love and use back in” sweeping through my house a couple of weeks ago. ???
Love the photosite revamp too!
and the homeschool reflection photo and quote.

Ooooo, I love this one! I’m really into lines and minimalism, and mid-century design asthetics - so this pic is right up my alley. After not participating for a few Fridays due to holiday business, I’m back into this!

PS. I had trouble with Lora’s link, but would love to see her contribution.

Hi Gals, I am glad you like it. I grabbed it on the fly and was “psyched” when I got it off the card and into my computer. It is great in color as well, but I love the mood of the b/w all the lines really stand out.
Sarah, I am glad you are back in the game. I know how holiday stuff can really put everything else on hold. I am not sure if Lora submitted anything. Maybe she will make one of her amazing pics public on her flickr so you can catch a peek.
I have all sorts of fun things planned for photoFriday this year, so stay tuned.
Peace to you both!

it feels SO Monday to me. =)
i think my flickr pics are public, aren’t they? I hope so. =)(except for the pics of the new house, which i know are private to just friends and family)
i didn’t do a contribution because i don’t really have anything new that is good much less friday photo worthy. OH! Zeek’s dog food obsession capture is cute:

On the topic of movies, if SlumDog Millionaire is playing you MUST see it - I don’t know if I have watched a foreign “feel” good movie in a long time, and it’s got a great soundtrack with current favs like MIA and good ole bhangra that makes you want to get up and dance - or maybe just every girl like me who’s been absorbed into that culture for years.
