I've had to totally immerse myself as volunteer, or start our own thing to fill the needs of my children (and myself) that reach beyond the home. Several years ago I started a Keepers of the Faith group as part of our homeschool group and am happy to have passed the torch on this year. Now I'm thinking of leading a newsletter group for the teens simply because it is another area in which my kids, who love to write, can meet with their friends in a safe environment in which their minds are engaged. Beginning new things is hard work. and I've been very weary at times, but I haven't regretted the time invested or the memories made. amanda I know how you feel.
