Hello Lurkers!

July 19th, 2008

Okay - now I am calling you out for REAL people! I have had so many private emails and face-book contacts from you people out there, who don’t like to comment. I know, I know, it seems a bit scary, leaving your voice out there for others to see and hear. I understand, but trust me you will get over it:-) A few months back, I took the Google analytics and map off of my blog. I didn’t want to care how many read my blog from day to day. So now, I have no idea who comes around these parts.

There is something I have learned over the past 18 months or so that I have been blogging on my own. Something amazing happens when you join a conversation, leavening your tracks, speaking your mind. I learn every day as I process through my thoughts and journey here in my little virtual space. I promise I don’t bite, and others will learn along with us as we have a little online convo.

I will say, that some of my previous lurkers are now some of my dearest friends….well because I left a comment on their blog or they left one on mine:-) One thoughtful Momma tagged me for a meme and stopped being a lurker. Props to this new blogging diva. She will become a regular read of mine.

So here is the deal, I will continue to share a little bit of my life from day to day - and maybe you will start sharing some of yours with me!

The whole world can be divided into those who write and those who do not write.
-Soren Kierkegaard

Think about it!

Peace to all lurkers today!

Ok, I will come out of the lurking abyss :)
I have been reading for some time-and love your site!
We have committed to homeschooling our two little ones for preschool and then see where the Lord leads.
I am excited to have such great resources of real people doing it in real lives-thank you again!!

    Hi Amber!
It’s Jennifer from the old neighborhood! I have been lurking for a while too, kind of my way of quietly keeping tabs on you and the kids and watching them grow through your beautiful pictures(and my goodness they look so grown up now). I was very touched by your homeschool schedule/life’s journey post. It made me remember how much you and your family meant to us while we were living in the ‘hood and how I wish we hadn’t lost touch with you. I am so proud of and proud for you and all your accomplishments! :)

Love & huge hugs to you all from the 4 of us!

Thank Amy. I am happy you enjoy my meanderings:-) Enjoy the homeschool process, it is a blast.

Jenn - HOW ARE YOU? I am, to be honest, gob smacked. I think that is a word. How did you find me? I mean where did you even know to look? You are the second person in the past month, that knew me before I started blogging and somehow found me. Let’s catch up - I will email you privately my number. How are Doug, Katlee and Caleb? Big by now I am sure. Are you still in the same house - or did you move again? Questions, questions. We will have to catch up.

well you know i’m here. with what little time i’ve had, i STILL haven’t gotten to read those homeschool schedule posts…but it is still on my list! =)

i love ya, and all that you write and encourage, and spill.

i can’t wait to spend our time together.
i know that it will make it a little tougher to be away, but take our relationship just that much further.
it’s going to be so much FUN!!! =)

Hi A ~ you know I’m here! Of course we end up talking about everything in our lives…but talking is a lost art as well, right?? I love how open you are to God leading you in this home-schooling journey. It is quite an encouragement to those of us praying about jumping into it. :)

    Your biggest fan,
    K

    Hey Lora and Kim~

I do know you are here, and love you both. I wish you both could meet each other one day. You would love each other!

You don’t even know it yet, but you are already homeschooling them:-) What I do, is just a bit further down the road.

Lora - i know my 5 part post looks long and daunting:-) But it will only take 10 minutes straight through from start to finish. Don’t let it overwhelm you!

    Love you both,
    a
