for Chloe
whenever I see a red hibiscus in bloom I think of our dear daughter. Yes, she loves them and is forever picking them, but that is not why I think of her. Her name means “blooming and verdant faith” I was praying for her one day, and this was almost exactly the picture God gave me in my minds eye. So I painted it for her and it now hangs in her room. The only problem is, I love this picture so much more than my painting. I paint so much better with my camera then I do with my hands. Alas, this is why I love it so much, Sigh!
I am still working on my garden post. I am still thinking, soaking and reading -be patient dear friends - they say it is a virtue:-)

Beautiful picture; all your photography is just awesome…
Interested to see your garden post. I FINALLY got around to doing a small planting in my two small boxes so I’m interested to see a-how they grow, b-how God teaches me thru them (because he always does!) and c-how your wisdom will impact me too…:)
(In case your wondering, I mixed it up this year and planted tomatoes and a pepper as always, and then some green beans and corn on the cob. Then basil, parsley and cilantro…)

Thanks Em - I a finally embracing the fact that I am an artist. It feel right for me.
I love what God is teaching me through art - really deeply good things.
I did get our avocado plant planted but no boxes yet. Still getting the compost multiplying - which is working SPLENDIDLY by the way. Let me know how the corn goes. The other day I found a random sunflower growing up in a neighbors shrubs. They leave their bird outside, so it must of sprouted up from its seed.
Kiss the boys for me.<3
Garden post is being written as we speak. More to come.
