Bless your heart Amber!! It is good to know that I am not the only one who loses it with my kids. However, there is one thing I learned as a houseparent to 8 teenaged girls for 7 years at a Baptist children's home...it is so awesome for them too see their Mommy in good times and in bad times. They learn so much when Mom is real and has to apologize, etc. I know that I would much rather them see me in my imperfection seeking God to help me get through it (whatever it is) than to see a perfect parent since it is not real!! :-)
You are an inspiration to me Amber!!! Thanks for the role model not only to your kids but to us Moms out here who keep up with you!!!

Been there. How humbling it is to lose it with our kids. How amazingly aware of His grace and mercy we can then become.

Hi

We were so surprised to see your blog win the blog of the day. It is a beautiful blog, so nicely written and very well laid out with a super theme. So no surprise there. What surprised us was the co-incidence. Our little girl is just 2 and today we have been discussing potentially home educating her.

We have three other children, they are 20,21 and 23. The eldest tours the world, the youngest is at uni doing Sociology and the middle one doing Nucleur Physics. It is going to be very interesting reading your blog and looking at the links
