Amber, what a great idea!! Sounds like you had a good time and I hope you will continue!! I would also love to take some dance classes (hip hop would be fun!!) but it might have to wait until Gage gets a little older!!!

Vicki, We did take come swing/ballroom dance lessons back before kids. They were a blast and I highly recommend it. Although the instructor kept switching us up. I was like, Dude I came here to dance with my husband not get a date. Hopefully we can do it again some time.

Lora - I refuse to wear the tights and skirt and all, so I am proud of you that you did:-) That is my personality, got to do it my way. I don't know if it is good or bad. Actually, I really don't want to spend the money on all of that stuff, so I got a cute yoga outfit that I can wear for yoga, pilates or ballet. All I can say is, it is NOT fun looking at yourself in those floor to ceiling mirrors for an hour and a half.
I guess I am going all out these days. It is amazing the energy you have when you sleep all night, and are not chasing after toddlers and changing diapers all day:-) That and I need to start working on who I am after these guys no longer need me the way they do now. So if I start now with baby steps, I won't be left in a vacuum in a few years.

I think you are hilarious…and dead on about us. I did the same thing a couple of years before Zeek was born. I wanted to forEVER, and finally, I just broke down and did it. Greg was so proud of me.

I sucked though. =)
And as skinny as i was at 120 lbs. I looked like an elephant in my leotard and sheer wrap dance skirts. =)

I am so glad i did though.
Good for you. You really are going all out these days. =)

I love ballet. I took some adult classes a couple years back and truly enjoyed the feeling and motion to the music. It is such an expressive yet disciplined form of art. And it is hard.
I sure hope you go back. The more you get used to it, the more freeing it is.
